Humour Summer School 2007
7th International Summer School and Symposium on Humour and Laughter: Theory, Research and Applications

Location

The city

Aberdeen is a city of about 200,000 people, on the north-east coast of Scotland.

The university

The School will take place at the main campus of the university (sometimes known as the King's College Campus or the Old Aberdeen Campus). This lies on the north side of the city, about 2 Km from the main city centre, but still within the main built-up area of the city. The campus has a mixture of picturesque old buildings (there has been a university in Aberdeen since the 15th century) and dull mid-20th century office blocks.

Owing to building works, the classes will not take place in the Meston Building as previously announced. Instead, we will be on Level 9 in the McRobert Building, marked as 7 on the campus map.

See the Travel page for how to get to Aberdeen.

See the Local Info page for transport within Aberdeen, and details of campus facilities.
