Sheffield is near several airports. It is easiest to
fly into Manchester International Airport as there is a train
service every 30 minutes directly from the airport to
Sheffield, which takes just under 1.5 hours. There are budget
airlines to Manchester airport including easyjet, Flybe,
Germanwings, Jet2, and Ryanair.
You can also fly to East Midlands Airport and take a
National Express bus directly to Sheffield, which are less
frequent (every 1.5-3 hours), and take around 2 hours. Budget
airlines to East Midlands include Flybe, Jet2, and Ryanair.
You can also fly to Leeds Bradford Airport and take a
National Express bus directly to Sheffield, which are also
less frequent (every 1-2 hours), and take about 2 hours.
Budget airlines to Leeds Bradford airport include Flybe,
Jet2, and Ryanair.
You can also fly to London Heathrow and take a National
Express bus to Sheffield. The bus is about every 1.5 hours,
and takes 4.5-6 hours to get to Sheffield. People flying from
overseas may wish to consider flying to Manchester instead
(even if transferring at Heathrow)
By Train
Sheffield has a major train station with frequent
direct trains to London, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, and
Nottingham. Tickets can be booked at www.thetrainline.co.uk.
Local transportation
Once you have arrived at Sheffield Train Station or Bus
Station you can either take a taxi to the accomodation
(approx. £8) or you can take the 120 First Bus which runs
every 20-30 minutes (£1.40). Car Parking is also available at
the accomodation venue for free.

To get from the accommodation (Endcliffe Village) to
the conference venue (Firth Court) is a 25 minute walk, or 15
