The 17th International Summer School and Symposium on Humour and Laughter will take place at Purdue University, Main Campus.  Purdue University is a public university, located in West Lafayette, Indiana. Purdue was founded in 1869 as part of the Morrill Land Grant Act.   Currently, the main campus in West Lafayette offers more than 200 majors for undergraduates, over 70 master’s and doctoral programs, and professional degrees in pharmacy and veterinary medicine, serving approximately 40,000 students.  Purdue is a member of the Big Ten Conference and enrolls the fourth largest international student population of any university in the United States.

The Summer School will take place in the Stewart Center (room 218AB), right next to the Purdue Memorial Union.  If you are staying off campus, there is a Grant Street Parking Garage that is connected to the Stewart Center through an underground walkway.
