Accommodation
With regard to accommodation, delegates will have to make
their own arrangements .
There are several options for ISS delegates to find accommodations
in Magdeburg. Although it would be desirable for lecturers
and delegates to be housed in the same places to facilitate
informal meetings and talks, it will not be possible to find
one place that can accommodate such a large number of people.
July is tourist season and Magdeburg attracts a significant
number of travelers.
The following hotels and guest houses have been selected
as options for delegates who want to keep their expenses low.
They are all centrally located and can be reached either on
foot or by a short ride on the tram.

senior lecturers will stay.

Youth Hostel Magdeburg
Located directly in the city center, and only 500 meters
(an 8-minute walk) from the main train station, the youth
hostel is an ideal base for exploring and experiencing Magdeburg.
It is surrounded by several affordable restaurants (Italian,
Czech, Thai) and close to a tram stop. The shopping district
and the city's main sights are within easy walking distance.

Hotel Sleep & Go
An 8-minute walk away from the university library, this
two-star hotel offers simple but clean rooms with wooden furniture
in a modern environment. It has free wireless LAN in the lobby.
The special ISS rates are €41 (single), €45 (double),
and €63 (triple occupancy). Breakfast is €6.
